Notes
Reconditioned machine comes with a complete Six (6) month
warranty that includes replacement or repair by rebuilders of any
defective parts in material or workmanship. This warranty applies
only to the parts described below as remaining items were not addressed.
A turn test has been completed on the machine, results averaged .0011
in 4th position and .0007 in 5th position. I can provide specific
numbers in a report format if needed.
I. RECONDITION SUMMARY:
A. CARRIER, SLIDE, AND SPINDLE SECTION
1. Rebuilt Spindle Carrier & ground Stem. Tool Slide ground & re-bushed to match Stem.
2. Installed newly Remanufactured Spindle Bearings.
3. Installed New Chucking Fork assemblies.
4. Rebuilt existing Chucking Spools assemblies; replaced Inner & Outer Sleeves.
5. Cross Slides have been ground & re-qualified.
6. Replaced rear Cross Slide Gears.
7. Replaced Lifting Shoe.
8. Installed New Collet Tubes, Collet Nuts, & Pusher Tubes.
B. MECHANICS
1. Replaced Main Drive Chain.
2. Repaired Auxiliary Drum.
3. Rebuilt Feed Slide as needed.
4. Replaced wear items such as Shoes & Gibs.
5. Locating and Locking Mechanism repaired as needed.
6. Indexing Mechanism repaired as needed.
7. Rebuilt Roll Clutch.
8. Inspected Hydraulic Brake & Feed Clutch.
9. Replaced Primary Shaft.
C. ELECTRICAL (remain as is except for):
1. Rebuilt Main Electric Motor.
D. FLUIDS (remain as is except for):
1. Rebuilt Coolant Pump & replaced Filter.
2. Inspected existing Lube Pump & replaced Filter.
Re-plumbed 50%+ existing lube lines.
E. CUSTOMER SPECIFIED ITEMS
1. Bored & Installed New Tool Holders: Stationary 1-3, Sliding 4-6.
2. Rebuilt Stock Reel & Stock Stand; Installed New Trusty Cook Hush Tubes.
F. TURNING TESTS
1. Turning test performed to insure tolerance specs are met.
2. Set forming stops to .001 or less.
IV. NOTES:
A. Rebuilder welcomes visits at any time during the reconditioning process.
B. Charges for transporting & rigging the New Britain are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Rebuilder will provide a forklift at no cost for loading and unloading at our facility.
C. We use Rustoleum paint and our standard colors are: EXTERIOR: Gray; INTERIOR: Tile Red.
